IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT FRAUDULENT TOLL COLLECTION TEXTS

The FBI has issued a warning to the public about a growing text phishing scam (known as “smishing”). Scammers are impersonating tolling authorities and stating recipients owe an outstanding toll amount. Recipients are directed to click a link to settle the balance and avoid late fees.

If you receive a text like this and want to verify if you owe a balance, please check your account online at https://www.bc-pass.com or call Bay City Bridge Partners customer service at 855-648-4330 weekdays between 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. ET.

The FBI is advising consumers not to click on the link and to delete the text. Fraudulent texts can be reported with the FBI’s Internet Crime Compliant Center (IC3) at, www.ic3.gov.

If you have traveled across Liberty Bridge without a transponder, please note that Pay-by-Mail invoices are now being mailed. If you receive one, we encourage you to REDUCE or CANCEL YOUR BILL by taking advantage of these limited-time offers:

Non-Residents

      • Create your BC-PASS account, and we will reduce your bill to the transponder rate! It’s easy to get started.
      • Offer only valid for transactions on first invoice, and payment in full of the adjusted balance is required.
      • Must be redeemed in person.

City of Bay City Residents

      • Create your BC-PASS account, and we will waive your first bill! Getting your BC-PASS is easy.
      • This one-time offer is only valid for transactions on first invoice and must be redeemed by the invoice due date.
      • Must be redeemed in person.
