Bay City Bridge Partners is leasing Liberty and Independence Bridges to finance, design, construct, and execute major improvements. The rehabilitation and modernization of Liberty Bridge is scheduled to begin in October 2021. The replacement of Independence Bridge is expected to begin in mid 2022.

Our goal is to safely complete both structures in the most economical and shortest time frame with minimal impact to Bay City residents and business owners – while working as mindful stewards of the surrounding land, air, water, and animal species.
